I haven't followed the news as much only today i checked and read what you said here. Before I relied on my Nigerian work colleagues for information on the ensuing campaign. Cristians btw. They were really excited about this muslim general.

Goodluck johnathan was recently mired in a N952 million scandle. The money million of dollars taken out of the country in the middle of the night using a private jet was siezed and frozen by southafrican authorities. Later he claimed it was being used for buying arms (illegal)to fight boko haram. Just before that even more money was seized by the same authorities
