This is the kind of thing that happens slowly and the changes are imperceptible. By the time you notice what's happened there is a new status quo.
A lot of Somali girls justify their actions by saying they've seen too much. It's not worth defending any more. Unless you live in a gang house with your male Somali relatives there is nothing to give up on. Those who misbehave and commit reprehensible acts have never represented us. They have always been disowned and we always distance ourselves from such people
Yes, in the age of instagram and Somali guys tweetin "free my nikkas" when one goes to the pen it may get disheartening. However if you as a Somali female use that as an excuse to create insults, join in or sit back and watch as guys are insulted then you may as well have sat back while your brother got insulted. He may not be the one on instagram posing with a bag of weed and cash yet I and every Somali male out there share the same name. You don't have to be militant honour defenders. You just have to not spew cay on SomaliNet of all places
We need to nip this at the bud. Pay attention because if we're not careful we will become desensitized to yet another thing that we found abominable. Before you know it they will propagate through discourse of all those shisheeyes from all sorts of ethnicities....
Simply because a few frustrated Somalis thought it would be funny/stress relief to malign Somali men for a while

Are you trolling FAH.
