somali political system is a joke!

im not interested any more in the somali politics, just want to make one point to understand why
actually im not stating some thing thats new, I have been saying this for more than a year specially the relationship between the somali govt and the west also ethiopia
I have stated long time that this govt had the westren backing in the beginning and was able to have bilateral relations with the west that could have made easier for the govt to implement its policies without the involvement of igad/ etheopia or the somali regions
unfortunately, prez hassan did not pick a high ranking political personalities who r experts on the international relations for fear of them and had only new politicians that have narrow agendas such as empowering their short and long-term interests on the expense of the westren agenda for somalia
they should have been coupled but anyways now you see these politicians are moving to the local/regional politics and thats as far as....
in this competition, prez hassan has begun visiting many regions and granting an already locally selected officers for promotion to higher ranks, signing for others this and that....in other words just authorizing...on the hope that they will agree and be silent about his term extension wich the west is strongly against it even john kerry has made it public during his visit to mogadishu
the west is cooking now for his exit from the office
there are some regional leaders with a narrow vision and all they care about is the camera and acting like a president or showing off their "power" so they are exploiting the president just like hes exploiting them
at the end its expected all this to go nothing and change their minds in the right time!
theres this saying wich is attributed to ibnu khaldun: the leaders become the decor of their sitting rooms(offices!)
لسلاطين يتحولون إلى زينة المجالس l
he means the decisions belong to the people who influence the leader!
