Season 2 starts tomorrow night on HBO for those of you in the states and Monday night on Sky Atlantic for us in the UK..

Am honestly soo hyped up for this show. Absolutely love it. The first season was incredible. The complex conflicted characters, the cinematography, the dialogue and the story was great. Was slightly disappointed with the final two episodes. I feel they were rushed and the ending was just terrible. I still can not believe that the Yellow King was some hillbilly who was in a incestuous relationship with his disabled sister and has his dad's body chained to a bed. While I was expecting Yellow King to be a high up powerful figure in politics, business or the feds but guess not.

Season two will be in a completely different settings. Moving from the 1990s rural south to modern LA. Story will also be different. Going from child abuse and murder to corruption. There will also be more main characters in this season as opposed to the two of the first. This makes me believe that season two will focus more on the case of the police officers rather than the characters.

There's lots of talk that Vince Vaughn is not suitable for a role in a serious production. Am of the opinion that he will be great in the show and will play the part of a mobster very well. Colin Farrel, I don't think I need to say anything here.
