Becuz of our sense of self and our homegenous outlook on others makes africans & blacks offended.
This author in his book makes note of the respectable difference between somali mentality & the rest of africa

Apart from Darood who believes they are descendeds of the Houthis and the Badawi clans in Yemen, the 90% of Somalis believe they are 100% Cushitic Africans. I don't have one arabic name past my 10th Grand father ( haaji Saleebaan). The rest are Madarkicis, Gorgaarte, Hawiye, Irir, Samaale which are pure african names with meaning. We are direct descendants of Prophet Adam and have never been arabs or been in any arab countries. Marka Adeer Carab nimadu adigu qaado and leave us behind. Hiraab is more than all the arabs in the Middle east and the persian gulf.

I have been coming up with great slogans these past days. I wonder what's up with that. I maybe had been exposed to too much of gamma brain waves. This applies unfortunately to Nomad very well.
