Lately every time I sit down to catch up with a group of friends, all (myself included) that anybody ever talks about is a side hustle, buying property. Doing a course online, putting in work at the gym, diet plans,getting promotions, next holiday destination.

So many dunyah goals but no akhira ones. I've been thinking of living a life of solitude retreating to some cabin in the woods somewhere, to get my mind right. I am struggling with striking a balance. Feeling consumed. #relections #hollaifyoufeelme

So how long would a hypothetical cabin retreat take to reach such equilibrium that you're after?

I would retreat to recharge anytime I felt consumed, just to get away from it all to get centered remind myself of my ultimate purpose in life. Cause the way things are going now there is no time to reflect/contemplate. Everyone is trying to drown out that inner voice.
