Why do girls make it seem like it is a crime to ask for their numbers? Just say no and move on! There is no need to dramatize the whole thing because it is normal. By the way tushi..I am talking about generally..not you. So what is wrong with a guy asking you for your number?

Nothing wrong with a guy asking for a woman`s phone number.Pretending to help me while ur intention is to score a number;that i have a problem with. Can others not help people without having ulterior motive?Would he have offered to help someone older and in need of the help?

Not really just Somali men problem - ALL guys do it - when they see a girl they like. Some are just more persist and desperate than others of course.

there was this guy who pulled up at a bus stop where a good looking xalimo was standing with the small crowd waiting for the bus. He was smiling from ear to ear. He went "abaayo halkee u socotaa?" She didn't reply back. I stepped out from the back n asked if he could drop me at the nearest high street which was like less than 4 minutes from where we were. I was running late for work. getting a lift will surely safe me some vital minutes as my other bus was passingby the highstreet in the next seven minutes or so
Intuu si xun ii fiiriyey ayuu yiri may, uma so do dhina caas :ooh:

My point is, if the xalimo said she was going to France, he would have offered to take her there nijaaska  n yeah there a reason why they offer to help you than the old ayeeyo or poor car less Coolman who could do with a lift to The next bus stop.

Maybe he would..you neve know because you ever saw him NOT offering help to an elderly person. The point is a typical guy would ask for your number if he interested regardless of if he helps or not. It is not a big deal and you always have the right to refuse.
