Beard gains...the struggle is real(photo)

Post by ZubeirAwal »

Don't laugh, last time I shaved was around 2 years ago, with a disposable razor i shaved my entire lower face, and at the moment there seems to be 0 growth on my chin, just along the sides and around the neck, the moustache is also developing faster, i guess the chin will come last.

I'm 20 and this is all that I can sport :sadcam:

My beard was once like that as well. What I did was that I shaved my face whenever I noticed any hairs growing. Even if it was only a little stubble.

I consistently shaved my face for almost 2 years, and I kept the clean-shaven look until I was confident that I could grow a chinstrap beard....which I'm now capable of growing.

The struggle is real saaxib. Stay patient and I'm sure it'll grow within a year or two. You're only 20 years old

Get your testosterone levels checked. Maybe they are low. By 20 you should have more growth than that.

Nothing to do with T levels, I grew slower than my siblings, I only broke my voice as soon as I turned 15 and that was also the year I grew taller,

I think facial hair is also determined by genes? My father couldn't grow anything decent until he was 23.

With those sideburns you look like a rapist. Shave them off and keep shaving it off until you can grow a real beard.

@Idman, Do you know shaving that is akin to shaving ones confidence? I am like a lion who is on the onset of growing a mane.

Did you shave with only a disposable razor and water? Or did you go full on with the cream and that,

I don't want to end up scarring my face with excessive shaving, I see the wisdom behind shaving the entire foundation until the hair follicles all grow at a similar pace.

You can try minoxidil to get a full beard faster. It stimulates the hair follicles. People use it to grow hair on their head, lol, but it also works on the beard.

Nah I'm not gonna apply some external shit, I'm gonna shave until the mature thicker hairs come through more than the scraggly looking whiskers

No point in explaining it to you or advising you, you wouldn't consider it anyways. Do you, you'll learn from trial and error.

I'm gonna shave dude, I was just wondering if it's caadi to use disposable shavers and water, rather than the commercialized shaving cream and expensive razors.

I used a high-quality razor. Never let a cheap razor touch your face saaxib. You don't want to end up with cuts.

But I'm seriously advising you to shave that. There's no use in having those stray hairs sitting on your face, it looks unkempt and it serves no function. I would get rid of it.

Smart move, those sideburns make you look unorganized , lazy and look like a creep.

What works for me,, I can go many tries with those disposable Bic razors. I don't even apply cream, just soap with water , shave it off, wash it and afterwards I spray lemon scented alcohol on the cuts.

It does the trick for me.
