I just pray to witness the

Was I lied to as a child or is it a sin to spy on people?

If it's not the case then I am definitely becoming jajuus.

So.....that's what you took away from the vid? That whoever placed that video(the wife) is somehow "sinning"?

I mean, by all means, let's not talk about the maid getting sexually assaulted right in front of your eyes.....instead, let's take the same tack as the Saudi government and condemn the video-taker for the "sin"(lol) of spying and defamation, because that's what God would want, amirite?

"sin" & "sinning", yet another reason why religious dogma is pure bullshit.

In other news -

An Indian housemaid had her hand hacked off allegedly by her female employer in Saudi Arabia and has complained she has been tortured whilst working in Riyadh.
Kasturi Munirathinam, originally from the south Indian city of Chennai, had been earning £150 a month while working as a cleaner for a household in the Saudi capital.
Since she started working in Riyadh, she said she had been tortured and deliberately deprived of food by her employers.

That part is obvious though isn't it? And if we're cataloguing sins there is no grey area around whether what he's doing is acceptable or not.

My question is about the less obvious part. Let's talk about our understanding of spying and defamation. If you spy on someone and they are not doing anything wrong but you are still spying then you are a creep by most people's and societies' standards. If you are spying on someone and catching them doing something wrong, then is the spying less wrong or less creepy?

Lakin I am serious though, it's something that I wonder on and off

Say this wife for example, her intention is not to help the maid, it's to embarrass her husband, does that play a factor in how right/wrong her spying is?

You folk must live a sheltered life.
Sexual harassment/assault is commonplace in every workplace from schools, hospitals military etc.
Because the perpetrator is an Arab your convinced it's the worst crime since Cain killed Abel. :)

I can't engage in your hypothetical I don't know what her intentions were for recording it. But I know why she posted the video to punish her husband.

Like most people I watch the video and see a sick deviant in a position of power abusing a person that can't fight back. A person that can't go to the authority a person that can't go to human resources and a person that can't go to the labour board and file a complaint like you can.

Now you watch the exact same video and see the "sin of spying". It's really important the wife recorded it no matter what her intention were.
We get to see what young somali girls and women have been complaining about for years. Like the Somali girl that was pregnant with her rapist’s child and got deported for punishment :(
