Two wounded in Lower Shabelle

At least two people have been wounded in an exchange of gunfire between two clan militiamen in the southern coastal town of Marko, 110Kms south of Mogadishu, Somali capital.
Tuesday's fighting comes as the president of the federal republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud called for an immediate ceasefire to the enter-clan clashes in Marko town.
Reports from Lower Shabelle region indicate that a battle took place at Shalanbood area close to Marko, where two clan loyalists are fighting for control of the lucrative city.
Marko, which is seaside city located in southern Somalia has been hit by deadly frequent enter-clan battles who are fighting for control.
