From January all non foreigners must have ID or passport from their countries. Somalians will receive 85% Entry Discounts. they will pay 15 dollar only. others will pay 60 dollar Entry visa. Somali landers are required to not rent their hotels, houses to unknown People. those who ignore this order will face deportation.

We are not easing any thing , we just did the best way to collect tax from a people who never paid any thing. Somalians look like us and speak like us they can easily find their way in or out of our country, for that reason the government decreased Entry charges so that They can afford to pay and we can collect steady and affordable tax from them. since most Ethiopians use our country as a transit point to their desired destinations, we can hardly earn any thing from them , how ever the government is using this decree as an excuse to kick them out of the country.

The government ordered that people should not even get Sim card without ID. That will encourage Somaliland civil registration process. it will also boost both Somalia and Somaliland Passport departments revenues. no body will travel any where without passport.

That is right, this is a bad move by kulmiye adminstration that is too soft you can't be mr.nice guy in a tough neighborhood.

Not bad but a better policy would be;

A) Deport all Somalians back to Somalia with Rahawein an exception.

B) Neutralize educated Oromo from the heart of Ethiopia. Move all eastern Oromo (Afran Qallu/Bale/Arsi) to Gabiley and Sanaag to work in the farms. Where as Shoa Oromo are enlisted in the armed forces/given better jobs such as education, electric, etc.

C) Neutralize Habesha Muslims especially ones with at least a degree. Those with PhD should be favored and asked to move to SL.

E) Adaris are naturally Slanders since Hargeisa was Harar and its founder (as a capital) was a Adarian Lander Sheikh (Sh Madar).

That's my view.

SL army should be multi-ethnic force with Isaac at the helm and Shoa/Wollo Oromo second in command.

Eastern Oromo are anti-Ethiopia and anti-SL. Many had fought for Barre under "Abo Somali". They are sympathetic to Wanlawein, ONLF and even al Shabab. They are the weakest within Oromo.

The Shoans and the Iyajju are the natural warriors.

Habro population is not enough in my views. It's time to pool in more population but carefully selected group then distributed so they can be absorbed.

Finally I encourage the take in of Syrians. Habro should then have new healthy gene pool and very different to the Wanlawein.

I think this is a good idea. Everyone who enters Somaliland should be charged entry fees. However I am not pleased with the government for charging southerners so little. Come on what is $15, they should be charging $60 or more. Why is a Somaliland like me paying $60, just because I have a uk passport. I think it should be the other way around.
