Abdiweli Gass gets Addis backing

Post by AwRastaale »

PL has convinced Ethiopia, the regional superpower, that 4.5 has long expired.

The majority of Darods want district based voting since their land both overlaps and entirely encircles Hawiye who control limited land with the help of AMISOM.

Ethiopia understands that it's good to keep the stallment but there should be balance between 4.5, which gives Hawiye upper hand through the use of fictional "Dir" MPs including non-participant Isaac, and landmass-based system.

So far Hawiye has been cheating by counting people in Somaliland and even Djibouti as Dir votes. They are merely paid crooks who have no power neither supporters in the said regions they "represent".

It is no different than if Darods counted Ogadens in Ethiopia and Kenya.

This flawed system is going to reignite civil war in post said "election".

While disrict gives Darods upper hand since their land is 3-4 times bigger than Hawiye.

MPs don't represent empty territories. They represent populations and so far South Central has more population than the northeast.

I rest my case.

We have to first remove the Isaac, Gadabursi and Issa fake MPs, who are nothing but prostitutes taking money.

They represent no people nor land. If today we asked them to take us their said regions to assess situation none of them would be able to pass Turkish-ran Aden Adde airport to the north.

This is fraud on many levels and unless their tribes are part of the process and recognize the outcomes, they should be removed.

Once we do that, Dir in Somalia is less than .5 and should be either added to Hawiye to represent 1.0 or they should be denoted as .25 thus Somalia is 3.75 (Darod, Rahanweyn, Hawiye, and the rest).

The swing votes than become Rahanweyn to break deadlock. The .75 minority should mean while try to find .25 elsewhere.

But Darod option should be to create its own fictional MPs and put them on their own payroll. Money can buy many fake prostitutes.

So PL has valid case.

Actually 4,5 is good for mudulood. 16 recognized districts in xamar, some districts in Lower shabelle, middle shabelle, hiiraan, galgaduud, mudug. We got the upper hand. Why do u think many mudulood politicians are rooting for 4,5?

The biggest loosers are rahanwein, HG,marexan, ogaden, murusade, xawadle, duduble. Its pretty unfair if u ask me waa xaqdaro MJ and mudulood dominating.

Besides the minority Will be more sidelined

Warsheekh,

You lost me. You said Mudulood is for 4.5 system yet you argued you have 16 districts just in Mog.

That makes no sense. Are you for tribal based 4.5 or district?

Also since Mogadishu is the Somalian capital, shouldn't it be excluded from districts?

It can't be used by Mudulood as a political ladder yet they can't claim its nautral and the nation's capital.

It is either capital for everyone and everyone gets equal districts or it's recognized as Mudulood city and Somalians get a new nautral capital.

A capital needs to be excluded from any voting system. The point is for constitutes to elect their local MPs and have them moved to the capital to represent their voice.

Hawiye cannot monopolize Mogadishu at the same time claim it's for all.

So your 16 claims would be invalid.

So many contradictions my friend and I am on to you guys.

Somalis need to understand the reality.

That's wrong, each district will have 3 MP's in Parliment, 16 districts in Mogadishu are not all counted just the pre 90's which is 14 I believe, HG live in 6 those shared with 2 exclusively and will have representation, same in shabelle, hiiraan, galgaluud and mudug, yes the biggest winners would be MJ with their largely inhabited districts and mudulood whom will have the most, HG will be in third place, the biggest losers are rahanweyne and DIR followed by other Hawiye/Darood sub-clans

This Xabashi doesn't know what he is talking about, district based Hawiye is still the majority by far, we oppose this system because it will usurp the rights of many Hawiye, Dir, Rahanweyne, Darood sub-clans including the minorities that will be left with nothing, this is not Somaliland were iidoor takes all the top positions and shares nothing with the rest. Besides Fatboy has no credibility since he failed to implement that system he is proposing in his own majerteenia kingdom, talk about hypocrisy.

My bad bro. I meant mudulood is for district based representation. As beesha lives from lower shabelle to mudug. I was half asleep when i posted dont confuse me with sahal.

Gobolka banaadir got 16 districts. Besides 2,5 millions live in banaadir qiyaasti. Many communities like certain subclans of wacbudhan abgaal and cadcad community live nowhere else in somalia than xamar surely they do deserve representation, don't you think?

Yeah i agree. 4,5 is decent man. The 0.5 will suffer even more with district based rep. I don't think district based is fair walahi. It's not a coincedence that the most sidelined clans are pro Alshabab

Kkkkkk somooth

Xamar waxa meeshaas dhigay caqliyadaas...you know what I'm talking about?

FYI xamar status is not yet defined so it's out of equation, 18 gobol camp wants it to be based on 4.5 as I posted the link many times.....in best cases it will have mayoral elections as a capital not clan region to convince the IC that every body can be candidate...In this system, I believe HG+murursade who dominate the islamic associations and civil society will have better chances in having more districts

They r suggesting also the 18 gobol to be applied to the upper house wich banadir was excluded from....it was reached to be based on equal regional representation

Pl+waqooyi extra 6 seats is for the disputed northern region, at the end of the day they will go to one side!

Why do you want Dir to get out of xamar when all kinds of Bantus xabashis and Asians have their role in Mogadishu. I mean having 62 Dir MPs in Mogadishu serves our interests. that's huge voting power . the 4.5 will never be changed and Dir MPs will stay their as long as there is other foreigners dictating Somalia's destiny.
