The chief of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Gen Abdirahman Turyare revealed that Al shabaab attacks in Mogadishu are being organized in Lower Shabelle region.
NISA chief said security forces of the local administrations of Mogadishu will take responsibility for the security of the city's districts and will be held accountable for any attack by Al shabaab militants.
Benadir regional administration was handed over the security responsibility of Mogadishu following an overnight meeting in Abdulaziz district, according to NISA boss Gen Abdrirahman Turyare.
