Dr Ismail Omar Guelleh in Rwanda

Post by AwRastaale »

Halyey IOG is in Rwanda for two official days to gain much wisdom from Africa's brighest leader Halyey Paul Kagame.

I like Rwanda and Mr PK. He changed that country for better.

Ismail will return feeling inspired and like he just owned his Doctorate in two days.

Rwanda has a lot to offer Djibouti especially Guelleh's goal of serving Africa beyond Ethiopia. He wants freight cargo and Rwanda not only operates respected airlines (also Ethiopian partner) but its airports are strategic in terms of transit.

What can failed Wanlawein learn from IOG?

Since we like Ismail Omar Gelle, we can learn how he managed to keep the infestation of interfering neighbours at bay.

As for Rwanda and Paul Kagame, that country should be a ROLE model for Somalia. That is my favourite East African nation.

Guelleh used same tactics as Emperor Menelik II to counter, balance and play each against rival powers.

For example he used Ethiopia against Eritrea and Eritrean refusal to do business with Ethiopia against Ethiopia (hurry sign up the port before window of opportunity closes).

He then used the French against Ethiopian politics as well any chance of Afar uprise.

He then used the Americans against the French and forced them to drop the legal battle against Guelleh over the killing of French ambassador/spy/lawyer.

He is now bringing the Chinese to keep the Americans behaving all while having the Japanese to keep their eyes on the Chinese.

That's master tactician and that's how Menelik both expanded Ethiopia and kept the Europeans and Americans on his side.

Now Guelleh is going beyond Ethiopian reliance thus the visit to Rwanda.

Very clever man indeed.

Cullusow will never be 5% of that.

Paul is another genius and even superior thinker thank Guelleh. Paul keeps his minority Tutsi dominating the mineral rich region while his economic model in Rwanda is unlike any in Africa.

The two deserve to be allies.

We will see. Personally, I would never mess with the big papa or USA. The Chinese are good but are not too big on allies. They only strictly good friends with the Russians and to an extent Iranians.

All I know is, I hope they build the key institutions of their countries. You can never be in power 100%. So, one day in the near future PK, IOG and those short ones that rule Ethiopia will all go.

Marka aa isku fadhiina.

Man, maxaad xaysiisay your country.

As for me: when I hear the name Culusow....tingles in my neck, ancestors calling me back.
