Is it fair to assume that people here on Somalinet, despite their wide differences on various issues, are very educated in Soamali diaspora communities educational standards? The average Somali diaspora member doesn't even have a high school diploma! I actually feel that I am with my colleagues
How do you feel about the people here? I know we have some weird characters but overall, I would say I am very surprised!!!

The problem with Snet is not the users but the owner, who runs things like Dahir Alasow.
His philosophy is more buuq more $$ courtesy of Google adense.
The problem with Somalis is we think short terms.
Look now today Snet is not making him much coz the place got abused beyond Hotel Rwanda. Others have left while quality went down the drain.
He could have created more pleasant atmosphere.
None of us enjoy or want to do what we do here and the way we cyber approach each others.
The fact is today Somalis have broken into many groups and the only way to bring the molecules is to create an attractive atmosphere where rationality and vision provail rsther than buuq, cursing, threats, reer hebel is better than reer hebel.
To behave this way in 1990s anf 2000s makes sense but we don't evolve. We don't progress and we expect the state(s) to make changes.
The way we all behave is some form of reflection of our society.
Politicians behave just like all of us except some get richer on the backs of poor Somalis herding their animals who do no fadhi ku dirir or wish ill on their neighbors.
I have so much respect for Somali nomads. So much wisdom.
Our behavour is like a factory producing speakers and robotics.
If ee keep emiting carbon into the atmosphere (our hearts snd minds), it will have impact down the line.
So in order to resuce any likely harm thst could arise, we must go green hahahaha (good intentions).
I am not saying we shouldn't have disagreements, heated conversations and so forth but we don't need collateral damage and name every reer.
I personally try and I know I pick on Hawiye a lot but that's only I wanted best for them.
I hate AMISOM, I hate AS. I hate the letters they send against Hargeisa's children then try to build a state in a new mechanism.
I am saying Gubad you go do you, hyper do you, Warsheek do you, let me do my thing...but we should come together for common issues same way we rock up to meher qado or Friday salat.
Adeer markan meherkaba ku kulano hal guri kamaynan do wada tosiin, dharka hal dukan kamaynan so wada qadaniin--y cant we do the same in political. Let Guhad come in his dhaanto outfit, Warsheekh in shirib, etc...but end of the day we come together for a PURPOSE/AGENDA.
I don't see the need for all Somalis to get out off their beds with Mogadishu alarm clock.
We are not bad ppl we just need to develop acts/principles that govern us and address where issues arise. We do not all need to be under Hassan to worn together.
No doubt Snet has some educates people.
Fadhi ku dirir is funny and entertaining at times but sometimes it just becomes nucleus fission explosion.

Snet itself is an educational institute, don't you know that, huh? I think Some members defiled this place, but most members are easy going folks. I am not educated but I am sheikhul kulli, you know the Kind of Somalis who knows every thing. I can guarantee you the distance between earth and Mars is 222 million km. did you know that ?
