Somalis and their lack of parenting skills.

There about 8 Somali families with kids in our subdivision. These kids play soccer on the parking lot and hit people's cars.

Last week i witnessed two lil sheydaamo playing near my car and and had to yell at them to get away. The lil wecelo than mouthed off to me and walked away.

Today after going outside i saw 4 lil ones playing outside again and had to yell at them to get away.

Later tonight i am going over to their parents home and tell them to keep these menacing kids to stop playing around cars.

One of the family is a recent arrival from either Kenya or Somalia. And they have the worst attitude. Wax ka dabeecad xun weligeey ma arkin.

It might be normal to destroy other people's personal property in Africa, but not here in the US.

They will soon learn that things like that do not fly in the west. It's a pity that often times these families have to learn these lessons the hard way. When one of their children go missing, or they all turn into useless gangster wannabes!

Talk to the parents. If that fails, call the management company. If that fails, lodge a complaint with the local PD.

Waryaa GAMES, what are you doing in the project, settled through low-income and Section-8 housing? Let the kids of the new Somali refugees play wherever they can. If they go to the park, those AA kids are gonna gang up on them, so let them find a spot around their houses. Or try to educate them about being considerate and make sure they stay clear from cars.

Kids can be mischievous little creatures, but it's ok they're just being kids.

I do however think we have our share of bad parenting in our community and it shows when they're out and about. some Somali kids at social gatherings, let loose while their mothers are mingling amongst themselves, having a good time and not a care of how their little ones are causing havoc,
