I didn't like that I wasn't able to criticize Somaliland leaders. So I took that to the limits, which owned me many fellow Isaac enemies but I didn't dislike them nor hold any grudges for I knew my objective. It was never about individuals but the morals.
We over came that.
Then there was lot of unwritten constitution which called for arms against Daroods but never about Hawiye. I didn't understand. What if I found a Darood that we shared ideas or views? What if we as neighbors agreed to move on from the past?
Right there and then I decided to change the game. I was not interested continuing the status quo and having the Isaaq vs Darood culture that existed not only virtually but for centuries.
I knew in most times the Isaaq-Darood feud arose as a result of scarce resources often over access to water points, camels or grassing rights.
I knew that life is now gone. Nomadism as we knew was slowly dying and indeed it is dying. The future was urbanization and I felt there was no need for us educated urban dwellers to import and encourage the old pastoralism feuds.
The enemy was many and many brings about commonality. In another words if the enemy is 1, probabilities of us having that enemy as a common is 50-50 but as the list of enemies grew so did the probabilities of commonalities. Now you have natural, external, internal and so many other fronts.
Whenever I had view on Hawiye, all Isaac were putting mask on my mouth shhhhhhh...these our allies. We have no conflict...we never did...we share no common border. Their bullet can't reach us and so forth my brothers defended their views and why Hawiye was an 'ally' by default.
I don't hate Hawiye. I agree with you but feuding can come in many forms; politically, economically, socially and so forth.BaastoUnit wrote: In truth, hawdians views are almost identical to yours, minus the xabashi nonsense.the only slight difference is that he has broken an old consensus which teaches that hawiyes should be given an easier ride than daroods.anyway, I dont see how his views are that different or any more provocative than gamers, dr yalaxow, xildiid, waraabe, the darood fanatics, even basras filth.why is there a big outrage over qabil comments when pictures of white mans ceeb are being promoted on the general section?
Isaaq and Darood may be able to combat over borders but you still have direct political conflict with Hawiye as long as Mogadishu was the capital and he had the stamp on his hand. There was economic conflict too. Such cannot be ignored and if he is not okay with what you want then that cannot be default ally. You have to reassess.
People said Isaa and Hawiye have long history and they will never clash. Get lost you're Darood.
The Hawiye on their part argued they were with Isaaq. They happy to support this and that and cry Somalia but they still insisted; Hawiye didn't kill for Barre, USC removed this and that, our pilot deserted to Djibouti and so on. It was well-practiced thing to play/use.Jabuutawi wrote:What does Hawdian have against Hawiye? Where did this visceral hate of Hawiye come from? I can understand him hating Ciise because we used to karbash him in Dira Dhabe, but Hawiye do not live in the north or Ethiopia in great numbers, so where does this come from?

you are a cancer to all somalis who believe in somalinimo, you will go out of your way to forgive darood atrocities against isaaq but you are quick to excaserbate hawiye atrocities against hawiye, you will break a limb to democracise a brutal darood dictator but you will never mention hawiye governance, you are either a very astute dabacyo or spawn of satan himself thank god your propoganda is limited to a few online website
Turkey doesn't have to be the ally of Germany just because the two once fought a war together or used each others. There has to always be a constantly reviewed cooperation. Allies are not fixed but interests are.AbdiWahab252 wrote:Jalaludiin... don't be surprised that Idoors who support the Jebertis and hate the Hutus are the neonates who never experienced the Era of the Marxist Jebertist regime but even then a significant number of Idoors were Faqash.
The world is much different than 1981 when Somalis yawned for the end of Mohamed Siad Barre rule apart from the few that was enjoying his bounty and loot.
Relationship in my book is a relativity that constantly needs to be re-adjusted to reflect the day.
There is no fixed Darood enemy and there is no fixed Hawiye friend. That is my view.
Using the good old rule of Action-Reaction-Solution, I was able to provoke, stir and agitate Hawiye individuals while leaving most Darood to do their thing. I kept my pen on my target even when 100 Daroods jumped on my back, I still saw the limping Hawiye brother. That only made Isaaqs even more suspicious...fokin sheegato, you are not us, xabada Daroodka ku jedi

Action: Agitate Hawiye individuals
Reaction: tit for tat, Isaaq retilation
Solution: Isaac boobytrap....Isaaq vs Hawiye, Isaaq + Darood vs Hawiye, Isaaq vs Hawiye vs Darood.
THE RESULT:
I always said I have nothing against Hawiye and believe me I don't. In our world, there is always good and evil. There is always liberators and repressesors. It is the natural world that creates roles and hierarchy of control for us. There is always the hero and the villain.jalaaludin5 wrote:From the faqash kacaan era to the fall of the last regime and even if you go back to the time before Ingiriis Cade came to our shores, Daarood iyo Isaq were at each others throats. Daarood's number one enemy was Isaq and vice versa.
For the first time I am seeing lots cuddling about between the two clans. Lots of nacamleyn iyo shuukansi rag waaweyn all over the place, as they take turns stroking each others ego with cactus tree.
I for one do not like it. Daarood iyo Isaq aan isku tufeyn wale waa mirqaan jabis.
Isaq fighting with hawiye is as boring as watching paint dry

Thus I had to create the "good northern culture" vs the "rejected south" using niiko vs jaandheer/heelo/badar as an example.
The end moral is Isaac has no fixed allies nor fixed enemies. Each man has to prove himself and Isaac to has to prove himself fit by being able to be flexible about change and in most parts moving from the past.
Today Hawiye see what Somalia has became under their leadership and that AMISOM is not there for Hawiye nor Somali interest but themselves. They can also see that Isaac is not going to back them blindly against the old foe. New Isaac generation is flexible. Able to forgive. Able to work with old foe in order to get the job done (common interest).
My job is done and with the mission accomplished, I conclude it with the words of a Darood.
Hostility between Darood and Isaaq on snet is 95% down and I hope all Somalis get along. It is possible but they have to be honest first. Isaac and Hawiye were not honest to each others. The dirt is out now, bury it and shake on it. I hope they can find a bigger common goal than; let's keep Darood in the middle because all around you there are bigger threats than your fellow Somali Darood. For instance the Somali Galbeed project has a window of 10 years before it becomes completely like Palestine. The only part that will be spared of settlement is the Issa-Gadabursi regions (Shinile/Harawo). That's mainly due to get Issa to cooperate with the pipeline and take own initiative to protect it from rebels. Little 'reward' for them. That's why Abdi Iley will soon sign off Harawo and Shinile. They may even become own administrative. It's on the table.whitehartlane wrote:horta smooth adigu ari baad tahaye orodo meelahaas gidaarada isla dhac...
