Tens of thousands have been drowned, trafficked, kidnapped and illegally imprisoned in the last 3 years.

The West do not want them at all. Go to Western forums, 99% of them do not want them at all. Many of them have bad reputation in Western countries.

The money they give to travel in a damaged boat with no access to lifeguard or not knowing the temperatures of those mediterranean ocean is the same price to a house they can afford at home. What am I missing here?

Yet, why are they still risking their lives to reach EU after they saw all the terror incident happened in those 3 years (after Ghaddafi's downfall).

Do they know this or they don't have news radios back home?

It is no longer a trip to Europe but committing suicide.

Let me tell you a story. Last year I met a Sudanese immigrant by the side of the road. I helped him get to Birmingham. A few days later he was in lovely Scotland. He had new clothes, new shoes, a fresh shave and a huge smile. He looked happy and successfull in the city centre of Glasgow amongst white middle classes. How do I know this? Cause he added me on his Facebook. Now I know the clothes and shoes are from charity or friends, I know he's not happy applying for benefits etc, I know he lives in a deprived ghetto and not the city centre. But the other 200 people who liked his picture don't know that. And by hook or crook they will try to join him.

Let's say there are 1million somalis in the diaspora, if each of us helps 10 people back home, that's the average population of somalia.

The migrants are stupid. They can go to Zambia/Mosambique/Angola even Madagascar and become rich like a bitch with the money they waste on the road to Europe.
