l'o and behold , Aw Jaamac Cumar Ciise clan ( Hayaag) at last exposed. No wonder the Hayaag are minority because they disposed of their kins the Tumaals. Daarood ismaaciil should welcome their newest member, ( actually not new but long lost relative), the fact they openingly intermarry with the Daaroods are further proof of their kinship.

Those are your cousin refugees munching on young blood, farther south in South Africa ( the cradle of your Hawiye clan) where your cousin Bantu settle in abundance the myth of virgin blood is considered a cure for Aids, in Somalia your folks only consider it a delicacy .

Is it true that the Muuse Dheriyo clan traces its lineage back to Madoobe Dir? I have read somewhere that their ancestor was outcasted for taking up a trade.

This meant he had not enough camels to 'buy' a wife so he ended up marrying a daughter of a foreign merchant.

Can anyone expand on this? I find it odd that Somalis looked down on skilled people. :(

My theory is that Midgans ( which Muuse Dheriyo is a sub clan) were originally a Bushmen a hunterer gatherer society like those in Southern Africa. The Somalis came they interramired with them they lost their small stature ( a century ago most Western travelrs in Somali region pointed out the small stature of the Midgans , as opposed to the tall Somalis), but one trace of their feature is rememnat among the Somalis , that is their high-cheek bones most Somalis with nickname "shine" , or "shiino" have the Bushmen high-cheek bones traits and eyes.

The Yibir , are more mysterious and number the least , I have no evidence to believe the common myth that they were originally Jews, the Yibirs are medicine men by traditions , they perform magic rituals and such.

The Tumaal is a black smith, and probably of Somali origin . weather they use to be Daarood sub clan or not , they are of a Somali origin, both the Yibir and Midgans have their own language . Iam not sure of the Tumaal. But the fact these people have their own language eliminates any Somali origin of them.
