I know this is going to be controversial but fuck it. I have to get it off my chest.
It's bloody hot in London today. Yesterday was even worse. Weli wii xidan. Why would God want them to suffer?

Maybe the material is lighter than the one that jilbaabs are made from? I dunno. You have got to remember they usually only get around by car and there is air conditioning everywhere : in every house, shop etc.kanadiid90 wrote:in saudi it reaches up to 50c and women still wear that black abayya
how do you normally dress up when you are going out of your house?lifeisbloodyhard wrote:Maybe the material is lighter than the one that jilbaabs are made from? I dunno. That's irrelevant.Sumubaridi wrote:how do you normally dress up when you are going out of your house?lifeisbloodyhard wrote:Maybe the material is lighter than the one that jilbaabs are made from? They have the freedom to wear what they want but I also have the freedom to say what I want.Machiavelli2 wrote:Why can't people have the freedom to choose to wear whatever they want? If one claims to be tolerant of same-sex marriages, why can't they extend that tolerance to Muslim women who consciously decided to wear jilbaab? Civility dictates that it's no one's business how one dresses as long as they are not nude. It's a basic etiquette for human respect and tolerance towards one another.
No pun intended.
Ina Adeer, the discussion is about one form of Hijaab called Jilbaab and not all forms of hijabs. Ta kale, you have no buisiness in demanding to know how she dresses. That is between her and her Creator.Sumubaridi wrote:it is relevant. You started a thread to ridicule hijab so I was wondering if you walk out of your house without Hijab. Muslims girls do not have a choice but to wear Hijaab. its like Ramadan. Would you say I cannot first because its hot or I cannot pray because. If you do not cover up, its your choice but do not ridicule people who are pleasing their allah.
And she has a right to Mock Muslims girls who are going about their business dressed up according to how allah demanded. Once you violet other people's right, you give people permission to invade your privacy. The same way she has right to question why they are wearing hijab, is the same way I have a right to ask her if she wears hijab or go out half naked. I am wadaad and I 100% pro-hijab. If anyone redicules it, then they are inviting a piff with me.Machiavelli2 wrote:Ina Adeer, the discussion is about one form of Hijaab called Jilbaab and not all forms of hijabs. Mach, you are right. I think I have been a bit disrespectful. I will edit my opening post. I will reflect on my views on jilbaabs and think about how to share my views sensitively. It is like the same-sex thing etc. There is a wider context.Machiavelli2 wrote:Ina Adeer, the discussion is about one form of Hijaab called Jilbaab and not all forms of hijabs.
