Why do Somali broadcasters (mainstreem or other wise) always report unsubtantiated, unconfirmed and down right silly ..

...claims as facts. Without doing the slightest bit of research about the topic/subject/claims. And why not report them as a conspiracy theory and convey to their viewers/audiences that fact, that the documentary or its content to be a conspiracy theory/unsubstantiated and documents/photos/vidoes provided as proves have not been proved by a consensus of experts in that field for example.
Just have look at this ridiculous vidoe. The point is not about the story in the documentary it's self but the way this dumb ass reporter narrates and is translating the video .
It's not only this one documentary I have noticed where Somali reporter and narrators of programmes exagerates but it's all around Somali media in general and across the board. They litrally not only disrespecting their viewers intelligence but their own intelligence.

I didn't watch the clip, but when it comes to reporting unsubstantiated news, it all goes back to the miyi mentality and our way of greating each other with.... Give me the news/ii waram.
What research are you on about?
You hear that question (II WARAM) and it's your duty to spill all and everything you have seen with your eyes, what you have heard with your ears. And I have to take it and spread the news like a waxyi samada ka yimi.
exp:
Lo'Don:...Jalaaludin, ii waram.
Jalaaludin:....war sxb waxa la soo ogaday ninkii Tutankhamuun Ee Furcooniga ahaa inuu inaga dhashay oo nin soomaliya ahaa. Sidey nimanka wax bartay u sheegeen, waxa la yiri magaciisa aya la khalday. Magaciisa saxda ah maxa weeye TUUGA QADHMUUN.
Magaca FIRCOON laftigiisu waa soomali. Waa Firkii Coon.

In most Western countries being accepted into a Journalism Batchelor degree requires very high grades. These days most students of journalism do a double degree specialisation and major in a field of journalism like science, Law, Communications, business management, Music, Sports, politics and etc. marka kuwa soo baxey jaamacadda universal ama Somali TV ama ka Dahir Alasow iyo jaamicadahaasi laysma bar bar dhigi karro.
