Germans developed new weapons that made everything else seem old and useless. They developed jets, assault rifles, modern tanks, missiles, as well as the stealth technology to counter the British radars.

The French military were only strong on WW1 terms, and whilst they sat in their ass, the Germans modernized their capabilities and pretty much made the French look like little school girls in the play yard

yes the germans did develop new weapons but it was nowhere close to what the french had, and after ww1 Germany's economy colapsed and un employment was at 90% thanks to the Treaty of Versailles, that's how hitler came to power and went on gta on the entire continent, and it was after they captured france the entire continent simply surrendered to them, not because they had might but because the defeated the mightiest millitary in europe.

as for the brits, they were lucky hitler got caught up in russia, because he would've captured them too

neways its not the weapons that matter sometimes its how well organised you are, thats why the germans defeated almost everyone,

in military effectiveness it boilsdown to three basic things, training, organisation and discipline.

In WW2, the french had the better equipment.
Better tanks, better aircraft and a larger navy.
Th size of the army was also bigger than the germans and they had larger amounts of superior equipment.
What fucked them was the change in doctrine that the germans adopted, blitzkrieg.

The french were expecting to refight WW1 again, a giant slogging match,
but the germans evicerated their formations, totally enveloped them and reduced them in giant cauldrons.
All over in a few weeks for france.

Ironically the germans developed blitzkrieg with the Russians when they had a secret relationship since 1928 to develop and test
weapons secretly in Russia.
Tuchachevskies deep battle is identical to blitzkrieg and the Russians practically perfected it later in the war.



and saudi arabia dont get me started on Saudi arabia.
The Saudis have always been deeply frightened of the millitary, they swore to never allow a real functioning army to be created,
because they might lose control over it.
Its always been a facade, the security of the House of Saud was gaurenteed by the US, they then proceeded to reward its liege lord the US, by allowing US and British Defense firms to get their own slush funds and sources of easy cash in the form of regular arms purchases.

The Whole point of the Saudi armed forces is to provide a form of social security for saudi youth and a place to dump potential
troublemakers, and also as a form of tribute to the US and UK by propping up their defense firms by buying equipment that Saudis cannot even man fully.

The only functioning armed group in Saudia is the NAtional gaurd, and this is from loyal tribesmen.
They are better trained and equiped than the army and their job is to protect the house of Saud, not the country,
so the specialize in counter insurgency and intelligence.

The whole thing is a facade, the Saudis still have Pakistani airforce pilots on loan to man their fighter planes.
Training is practically non existing.
It explains how houti tribesmen, overpowerd and brutalize a couple of saudi brigades armed with the latest equipment,
while driving technicals.


On Paper Saudi arabia, is a major power on the level of Isreal and Turkey, from the types and number of weapons systems available.
The reality is that Saudia's 250,000 + large armed force is more or less equal to Oman's tiny yet effective 30,000 man armed force.
and UAE's 50,000 man force is superior to the Saudis and can hypothetically defeat the Saudis in a war.

If Jordan is given permission by the US, they can avenge Ami Abdullah and recalim the hedjaz and all Saudi Arabia,
within weeks, there will be minimal opposition from the army.
They will face a challenging guerilla war from the loyal tribes in the National Gaurd.

Yet they hire cannon fodders from Africa, Latin, West and Pakistan. I think it has something to do with dividing tribal lines. I heard their national guard all come from the kingsom's tribe.
