Now having read into it more I understand lol. There's a minister for international trade and a new minsiter specifically for the negotiations between the uk and the eu so actually Boris does fuck all except for flying around the world but even so it's not a good look at all.

Theresa May a Remain campaigner is very smart in nominating Boris who was a Brexit campaigner as Foreign secretary to deal with the headache of negotiating a divorce beneficial to Britain with Europe. It is a case of you caused this mess and deal with it. The French, Dutch and the Germans already told him not to expect an amicable divorce.

I'll be interested to see if she gives the likes of Gove and Hunt jobs. She is well known to hate Gove with a passion. Clever to give Boris a job like that, it's outward looking and appeases the Boris cult fan base.

As someone pointed out on Newsnight yesterday, what were previously Foreign Office responsibilities are increasingly controlled by No.10. Boris will be nothing more than a cultural attaché, buffooning himself around the globe. Given that May is a notoriously micro-managing task-master and that Boris is a notoriously lazy tosser, I doubt he'll last long if he actually has to do much.

David Davies as chief Brexit manager is a good move. He's blasély been making sweeping statements on the ease of Brexit and what's possible. Ok then mate, knock yourself out.
