They seem to be getting the brunt of Sunni Islam's rage and violence. Just today, more than 80 killed and hundreds injured in Afghanistan. Ironically, the Hazara Shia minority were protesting discrimination by Sunni majority Afghans. ISIS claimed responsibility.

In recent years, Shias across the Muslim world have been specially targeted. Whether it's in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Pakistan, Afhganistan, etc., there's no place Shis are safe except of course where they're dominant (Iran). So, the question arises where is Allah in all this? Why isn't He helping Shia?

It's interesting your raise the Muslimness of Shias because if you go on youtube and watch Sunni/Shia related videos, a lot of the Sunni commentators dismiss Shias as non-Muslims. But surely being non-Muslims is no justification for being systematically targeted as they are now. Or is it?

What planet are you living in? In Iraq, the Shia militias were quick to take advantage of the post-Saddam vacuum to ethnically cleanse Sunnis from Baghdad and other major cities. In Lebanon, the Shia literally massacred thousands of Palestinian Sunni refugees in Sabra and Shateela alongside Christian militias and Israeli troops. Hezbollaat and various Iraqi Shia militias are actively slaughtering Sunni civilians in Syria as we speak. In Yemen, the Iranian backed Houthi militia has captured much land and slaughtered countless Sunnis.

Shi'ites have a deeply seated hatred of Sunnis and refer to them as "Nawaasib". Most Sunnis were oblivious to this before the war in Iraq.

Based on my observations shias are more patriotic Muslims compare to the Sunnis. There is no way Sunnis are better Muslims than shias. no way. Some Sunnis spread false allegations against shias, for example they say shias hate Prophet Mohammed csws. that's not true in fact Shias love nebi Mohammed and his offspring more than any other Muslims. I consider my self neither Sunni nor Shia but I have big respect for those shia patriotic Muslims. look hisbullah, Houthis, Iran, muqtalla sadr militias. even the alawi bashar alasad. No shia is puppet for the west while Sunnis are all puppets .

The entire Sunni population in Iraq is on the brink of extinction because of sectarian Iraqi Rafida forces backed by Rafida Iran and the West.

Uhm, Iran cooperated with the West in the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. They are actively killing Sunnis in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. Even now, Shia militias and the Shia puppet regime of Iraq are actively cooperating with US troops in Iraq.

They love to pretend that they are pro Palestine, yet Palestinians in Syria and Iraq were among the first to be targeted by their militias.

Iran was politically correct To Support Iraq invasion . Saddam was Iran's number one enemy.

In general Shia are more united than Sunnis and more patriotic. Given their seize/number and Iran as the only majority Shia country, it's a no-brainer.
