Land dispute intensifies in Awdal & Waqooyi Galbeed coastal borders

Post by JSLHistorian »

This can potentially damage the little support Kulmiye had in coastal Awdal districts. Usually elections don't happen in this areas
because of the land dispute.

Some of the disputed coastal villages.

1. Hadayta
2.Sabawanaag
3. Ceel Sheikh
4.Cabdi Geedi
5.Ceel Lahelay
6.

Khalid I am assuming the goal of Dawga cad is to reach Lughaya town but how will that work since the land south of it and east of it
is in dispute.

Why is it so difficult To solve the problem. if the dispute is political The government should extend selel boundaries, and make these areas under selel administration . isaaq samaron and ciise all live here So the best candidate region is selel. putting isaaqs under selel can contribute our national security. I always believed this ideology That Awdal demographics should be changed by bringing back ciise waraabe and of course add some isaaqs if its possible . Sacad muuse just wants to boost their number of councilors in hargeisa which is their clan interest. but the national interest is to keep them under selel or awdal.

why do I want mult clan awdal ?

well awdal is the only region in Somaliland almost exclusively dictated by one clan. Changing its demographics can make it easier to control by the central government in difficult times. it means the government can empower one clan against the other in case one is causing some trouble. The region must be at least 30 or 40 % non Samaron. This can be achieved easily if the government allows unrestricted citizenship rights for the ciise clan and create them fishing jobs so that they can settle their land permanently.

You can return to berbera city any time , berbera is going to be urbanized any way , I encourage any isaaqs interested in berbera, especially sacad muse, habarjeclo and habaryonis are already There. eventually the monkeys will grow up like the ciidagales, they won't keep attached to berbera ownership once they see the benefits of urbanization . even if they keep claiming unakaa leh muuse biixi won't hesitate to karbaash them, Cirro may appease them more than silanyo because he can't handle their accusations if they use the card ' he is helping his muuse cabdale ' against him.

This is stupid qudubuur are not really coastal dwellers, all those listed towns are sacad muuse villages, might be few people left, but its nothing to do with the afweyne created gobol called Awdal. way kibreen dadkaani, everybody knows they are lowkey faqash, no need to sugarcoat it for them, build the damn road and start taxing them, we cant have nonsense land disputes in 2016.

Ciidagale did the same thing, Lafaruug, Xamaas, so many suldaans buried there, but at least we left our land to other Isaaqs

Time to pack up caasho, move back to Lughaya

But thts the difference I personally don't see reer baraxley as my country people..if it was upto me as Mr whitehartlane I would declare independence yesterday morning from them... so in that sense they can sod off.. I don't claim them or their lands..

But you do and yet you degrade them based on the same basics as the Indian caste system..and the funny thing is you are not superior to them in any particular way..

If only interior clansmen where easy to move up northwards to guban, it's hard enough to bring your reer samatr down from the hills to the coast, an ciidagle cannot be separated from his camels and hawd, isxaaq would run away (again) first time from Xirsi Aman taxes. :pac:

still ancestral land is ancestral land, and its illegal to lose or give away to non isaaqs, SM needs to take this serious and put down the squabble.
