On of them says and I am paraphrasing "My husband wanted me to be a stay at home mom. I progressed when I left him"... she goes on to advise other women to do the same if their husband prevent them from "progressing", even suggesting that breaking up the family is somehow better for the children in such a scenario..

Another interesting point: how can they decry the effects of colonialism when discussing skin-bleaching, yet they promote Western feminist ideology?

Their argument is that skin-bleaching is a consequence of colonialism, meaning the colonised people adopted the beauty ideals of the colonisers - i.e. they see the world (and themselves) through the prism of Western colonial powers. The same argument can be made about those who blindly adopt and spread Western ideologies such as secular liberalism, humanism, capitalism and feminism.

So a stay-at-home mom is seen as "inferior" to a career woman. Having a career = progression. These are western ideals. Why can't we as Somali-Muslims have different standards?

Somali Women are the backbone of our society, anyone who says otherwise are simply being ridiculous.

It's like the Western white person 'freeing' East Asian women from their 'oppressed household's (A.K.A marrying with their women).

Somalis always held to be superior compared to their fellow Africans way before the Scramble of Africa occurred. These people have been influenced way too much by Afrocentrists (I regret that our ancestors cared about other Africans, look at how they treat us).

Somalis with a self inferiority complex disgusts me more than Somali atheists.
What we should do instead is fix our homes, infrastructure, more inter-clan dialogues, fight against terrorism/mooryanism/corruption,etc..

Women's rights is the most exploited aspect of the social function; mainly because it is often a deciding factor in disrupting social order...for betterment or rather more nefarious objectives; the latter is more rampant.

Exactly, these people have no clue.

Watch, within 10 years there will be forced lesbianism in the new feminist platform. All the thousands of Somali girls online promoting #blacklivesmatter will be tribbing in the streets. Right now most of them identify as genderqueer with pronouns in their bios, wait for what they come up with in 10 years time.

tribbing for the uninitiated (also search your local pornhub): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribadism

Somali women back home do it all.....raise children, keep house and run small businesses. :)
I'd hate to see our women follow the Afghan/Saudi model.

Most of the followers of the Dajjaal will be from among the Jews, Persians and Turks, and a mixture of other people, mostly Bedouins and women.

With regard to the Bedouin being followers of the Dajjaal, this is because many of them are ignorant. With regard to women, this is because they are readily swayed, and because many of them are ignorant. It was reported that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Dajjaal will come to this pond in Marriqanaat – a valley in Madeenah – and most of those who go out to him will be women, until a man will come to his mother in law, his mother, his daughter, his sister and his aunt, and will tie them up strongly for fear that they will go out to him.” (Narrated by Ahmad, no. 5099)
