She was married before. Wants to make a contract and forfeit financial responsibility. She just wants her needs taken care of Halal way. Is it legit?

sheikh Haywire,

i would assume you would know this one. however, per " Saudi scholars" as long you get 2 witness, mahr, her wali. it's okay for her to give up financial responsibilities and sex be arranged as man needs. exp; when he traveling, away for his wife and want to have sex. they call it "misyaar" you walk for it back and forth.

this is not a short term arrangement where you set a time frame. So its different in that sense.

Can you give us in depth analysis on this and under what conditions this is ok in Islam maybe previous rulings xadiis etc.

brother, they go by qiyaas just like traditional marriage.

since so much well off Saudi women or else are divorced or widow or never married... need man, instead "zina" if she gave up financial responsibilities , if all other conditions valid, why not?

that is arguments. it was a huge debate past 10 years or so. since too many women with no men and don't need housing or financial dependents.

my opinion it's valid if adult woman wants just occasional sex in halal. but i just wouldn't like marriage to be down to only sex and nothing else. but hey my opinion just matters to me.

So...its haram if there are financial obligations...but if all parties including witnesses know that this is strictly for sexual fulfillment then it's 'halal'.
