This is very bad for the Somali community. Columbus is a mid-size city and we're easily recognizable for the extremists who may harm innocent Somalis as a result of this heinous act.

That said, we (the Somali community in Columbus, Ohio) send our condolences to the victims and their families. We condemn this heinous act to the strongest terms, and wish speedy recovery to the victims and their families.
