Today, the Shia are running the show while the so called Gulf Arabs quake in the midst of the Iranian invasion and consolidation of Iraq and Syria.

He was a damn fool who single handedly destroyed the most technologically advanced Muslim state.
Even as late as 2003 with all the non Iraqi scientists gone home and only the native ones remaining.
They were able to do cutting edge research on lasers and plasma, they kept the knowledge gained through the nuclear program and could have relaunched it in future.
Now they are dead or fled to the west

The isrealis assassinating allot of them was a shameless act that should have shamed the international community, but no protests, it was just some sub human Arabs getting killed by the exceptional ones.

AbdiWahab is reading the situation right, Saddam (May Allah takes him to Jannatul Fardausa) was indeed a bulwark against the Rawaafidh expansion. He saw how the so-called Iranian revolution was a sectarian and that regime was indeed a danger to Sunni worldwide. He opposed and made sure they were confined to their borders. Sadly, it took the whole Gog and Magog world to take him down.

I like when you write about Siyad Barre's brutality and his atrocity against defenceless civlians but I get buffled by your glorifying and praising a worse dictotor who has butchered, bombed and gased to death thousands of his people . Sadam went to war with Iran as proxy for USA, does that make him Suni defender . He invaded Iran because the Iranian revolution was a threat to Iraq. Khomeini attempted to use the Iraqi Shia to topple Saddam in order to exert their influence. Not only it was a threat to him but the entire Middle East hence why many Arab countries (except Syria for an obvious reason) supported him in the war.

Justifying the killing of innocent people such as women and children whether they are Shia, Kurdi, Suni Arabs or none muslims is immoral and savageness. This kind of mentality is what destroyed many Muslim countries including Somalia. No wonder why you are refugee in Canada today.
