Where is the government? I see half starved people, ugly ass city.
Same people, same ideas, same result. This is what some here are advocating for. The failed Qudhmiye gang enterprise has ruined Somaliland

It's a challenge to any city give them a break. This city has grown too fast in short time. 2 out 4 of Isaaq live in that city. There is daily influx of economic migrants who lost their livestock.

If someone deserves the blame it should be the mayor. Unfortunately the mayor of hargeisa is not a very bright man.
The city is growing so fast, he should be working extra hard to keep up. It is estimated 1/3 of Somaliland now live in hargeisa. Supporting 1.5 million people is not easy. There needs to be long term plan for the city.
Also is funny how no one blames the planning minister.

If the government won't do anything about it, than it falls on the locals to organize, raise money and just fix it yourself. It would probably be a lot quicker as well.
