Re: Somaliland arrests 4 women for wearing the national flag
This is why SL is failing. If you dont have principles, something you stand for, you get washed away.
The police are standing up for the existence of SL.
Wearing Somalia flag is a form of political warfare
Re: Somaliland arrests 4 women for wearing the national flag
Blue flag stands for destruction of SL
Re: Somaliland arrests 4 women for wearing the national flag
The blue flag is a symbol of oppression and destruction. It must be banned and anyone who is brave Enough to don it, must be penalized or charged with grosss misdemeanor.
Re: Somaliland arrests 4 women for wearing the national flag
In the end of the day, if you cannot convince your own people to wave your flag then it means that you're ideologically bankrupt and that Somaliland has failed to win the hearts and minds of their own people. Arresting civilians will turn the Somaliland flag into a symbol of oppression, hate and captivity.Siciid85 wrote: Sun Apr 09, 2017 6:39 pm The blue flag is a symbol of oppression and destruction. I welcome it.

Very interesting case. I really like this government's tough stance against evil symbols and those that celebrate the devilish flag.
There is no proof these naago are natives of this land. They could be anyone but the most important thing is they are now behind bars and might face deportation.
In this land the Israeli flag is more worthy than that UN flag with the silly meaningless star.
I would not arrest them. I would throw them in the boys' hood where they would more than spit on their faces. I assure you many would seek refuge in nearby homes all topless. That I believe is the right way to deal with them.

Why not send it to "president" Farmajo, why Amnesty International? I thought your president "rules" the "country"...grandpakhalif wrote: Mon Apr 10, 2017 12:51 am Very sad! What kind of people claim the 'country' is one and there is one 'president' but he is so powerless his followers are forced to shoot emails to irrelevant organisations. Weirdos.
Amnesty going to send you back an email saying blue is some countries is the colour s3x workers wear and if they taken off the street, that's the local law.
Maybe you can say SL banned the UN flag (UN Trusteeship flag to be exact).
Maybe they will reply then. For now we going to clean our cities from Wanlawein refugees and their blue skirts.

Keep it up, if SL continues on this path your so called sham of a democracy will be exposed. Freedom of the press and attire are the pillars of democracy, you are on a roll this year and I have personally sent emails to HRW, Amnesty International, the British Foreign Embassy, Swedish Secretaries. You will soon have your aid stopped and Farmaajo will accelerate this processes. We all know your most vital institutions rely on EU such as your hospitals and military.
I am currently compiling a report of 2017 crimes
1. Arrest of a journalist Abdimalik Coldoon on egregious grounds, sentenced for 2 yrs unlawfully
2. Arrest and kidnapping of innocent young men in Burao for celebrating the election resilts
3. Arrest and wrongful detainment of Ajaki, mildly tortured before being released.
4. Arrest of innocent young women for donning blue attire, directly in conflict with international human rights conventions
The list goes on... Its only 4th month of the year, I expect it too get longer
