What's surprising about this battle is that no casualties have been reported.

It's looks like the normal seesaw between the two administrations whenever one of them wants to make a point, in this case to show the weakness of Puntland in front of the Somali president. I wouldn't be surprised if the town is back in Puntland hands by this evening.

Puntland has already recaptured Tukaraq and more reinforcement is expected from Garoowe.

Tukaraq, as some of you know, is only an hour's drive from Garoowe.
