Every time an old person from Syria Iraq hears I am from Somalia they speak Arabic and its only the old generation dont this people get it we are not Arabs !!!!

Many Somalis speak Arabic,

I speak Arabic, so maybe that is why they assume.

Also Arab is not a race, it is a language that is ancient and spoken by people of every colour under the sun since ancient times. Infact ancient Arabs were dark skinned Afro-Asiatic people similar to us to begin with before the Turkish infiltration of Arabia.
