it seems like SL is the one desperate for talks , the former SL Foreign minister who has close links with both Mogadishu politicians and Jeegaanta has organized these talks.

he is advocating for a realistic integration of SL intended the federal system. It seems the dream of recognition is dead and reality sets in the pragmatic resolution is on the table.

I am starting to beleive may be just may be SL got a point basicaly they are saying we joined together 1960 and that ROS is not working and that they want to go their own way
So I suggest a proper refrendum should be held for so called former British Somaliland and if their public , politicians and intellectuals vote for seperation then for gods sake let them go , after all we are all somali and couple of years time they may change mind and come back.

not going the happen but for arguments sake if it were to happen then the somali government will ask a seperate referendum for somalilands different states.

so Awdal will have it's own referendum sanaag will have its own sool also and so forth. it will also ask for a clear majority meaning that 60% percent must vote leave for it to become law.

in this case awdal, sool and sanaag could be part of somalia, while the rest can be somaliland.
