Somali airlines might come back during Farmaajo's term
Somalia government needs all the revenue streams it can get, Turkey airlines already admitted they are making alot of money from Somalis visiting Mogadishu in much bigger numbers than ever before in 2017 so this is potentially going to a big money maker for the government.
Re: Somali airlines might come back during Farmaajo's term
The minister said next Friday they will come to the final agreement on how the framework for Somali airlines as well as training of Somali pilots will look like.
This is perfect, its important the gov gets as many revenue streams as possible so we can implement the national agenda.

Won’t happen and there is no money from Somalia. It’s only Aden Adde and that generates no more than $2m if lucky.
You can’t run a plane on $2m.
Certainly won’t be allowed in SL, Ethiopia, etc.
If lucky they mind find scrap metals from wreckages in East Europe.
I rather use my Ethiopian, which is the largest in Africa by fleet size, destinations and profitability. Also most modern fleet.
Our airline (Addis to Hargeisa, no body will allow unsafe scrap metals here)
All female flight crew

Mashallah, its great to see the revival of a relic that once portrayed the might and grace of the Somali people. The pride of having your own national airlines is immense morale booster for us!

excuse me for my bad language against Amxaar, its very xenophobic, but one must understand that it is natural to be in favour of your ethnicity and nation, Allahu akbar. We are muslim and we must support our family which means our ethnicity.
The point is to establish Somali business run by the state, other companies are welcome but we have to remember a good paid slave is nothing compared to a free man getting good pay and working for his nation.
This is why as a ethno-nationalist I never liked Awrastaale, he is really smart but not an ethno-nationalist. Awrastaale has obsession with Amxaar, as a Somali Amxaar maba garanayi, caku amxaaro gaalka qurunka fuk them iyo abaahod.

Folk say he is the product of a Amxara soldier and Garhajis mother.....born in the refugee camps of Ethiopia during the snm period.
He has been totally rejected by the Amxara and spends his time trolling Somali's.
Actually I pity him.

Faqash crying as usual coz their scrap metals failed for a reason. Ethiopia had violent regime change just about the same time Barre and this scrap metals fell from the sky. So how come out Ethiopian continued to fly and become the most profitable carrier in Africa while the scrap was allowed to be buried?
The answer is simple. Scrap Airlines never had important clients nor investors. It was not important and it’s not today. If anything it will be just another Daallo or Jubba Airlines.
Meanwhile...
I pity you guys and feel your pain hence why I’m rubbing salt in your wounds.
Btw Ethiopian flies to Hargeisa but Scrap Airlines will never be accepted. Reality check.

I don’t care when and where or how much the price is but when Somalia airline comes back, I will do everything within my power to be one of the first people to fly on it INSHALLAH .
Ps...you guys need to ignore awrastale, Somalis can say the sky is blue and he will go on and on about how Ethiopians think the sky is made of 100% pure raw meat.

There’s no point crying about non-existent scrap metals.
My only q is if this scrap metal, which will be like Jubba, ever revived, can it land in Hargeisa like Ethiopian?
