General Samoora: Ethiopia's Highest Ranking General

Post by Jabuutawi »

Fired!

Dr. Abiy Ahmed is onto something. Is this the shot fired across the bow to end Tigray rule in Ethiopia and the start of the breakup and declaration of Article 39?

Would you ever consider taking Shiinle into Djibouti?
It would double the size of Djibouti and give access to the Awash river. :)

U really think Tigrays ethiopianness hangs on this old fart being the Chief of staff or at ever they call it???
Tigrays ethiopianess is deeper than that.

No...of course not.....but as you know Somalia is water poor while Oromia is water rich.
We must secure our share of the water resources from the Awash river, Bale mountains and south to Negele/Sidama.
Without these water resources we have no future.

Dear OD, Oromia region has a water resource enough for a population of 300 M, we are barely 50 million oromos.
Its more than enough for u and us and even to sell to the arabs through your ports. The money u spend on chasing oromos from the water spots u can invest it in farming and maybe hire seasonal oromo farmers ...thats win win situation
Oromos are not savages u think we are...We are down to earth people...our motto is live and let live.
There r some of us in Puntland helping u in farming although u dont have a lot of farms.

The big question is whether we r fighting over water or we share it and make together the best out it?
May GOD give us the wisdom to see our potential!

Barento.....you got me all wrong....I have no wish to make war with Oromo.
My strategic objective is to secure water resources.
Somalia is fast drying up.....without access to water we're done. :)

Definitely I would like Shinille Zone to join Djibouti. Shinile would more than geographically double the size of Djibouti Republic with 2.5 million plus inhabitants. And DD joining would be just icy on the cake.

@Bareento, slowly put surely the Tigray mystic is being chipped away. Who would have thought just a year ago an Oromo would become PM of Ethiopia. This is good experience for the average Ethiopian to understand; 5 million people (Tigrays) can't forever subjugate and siphon off the wealth of 100 million people.

Sitti Zone is not letting up. They took a page from Oromos and are demanding their inalienable rights. 90%+ of Ethios wealth comes through Sitti, how then is it that it lags in development compared to other regions in K5. This has been an eye opener for me to say the least. Sitti demands fundamental changes, and they WILL get their demands met, or they will be consequences up to demanding our own state. Call it 10th Kilil. Abdi Iley can't even set foot in Sitti or Dir Dhabe. He sends in few paid stooges to calm the masses; but the youth are restless. There is no going back to business as usual.
