I've never heard about this ever, until recently ofcourse. So what's the deal where did this barbaric practice come from?

You should start with asking your parents if you have never heard of gudniin until recently. I am wondering what else they have failed to teach you.

Why would they teach me such a barbaric practice? Are you aware a lil 10 year old girl died cause of it? That's how I found out.
