Barre Hiraale kept it 100 throughout his life. He made the civil war interesting and he faced loads of challenges. He Captured Kismaayo by sea which is a first.

And he escaped heavily surounded Kismaayo unhurt more than once by driving straight into enemy lines and firing his way out of the city .

He lost Kismaayo, and went to Gedo, gathered a Army and got the city back within 24 hours.

The funny thing is that he has always been dowlad, and Ahmed Madoobe has been Al-shabaab.

Barre hiraale under the TFG fought with Ahmed Madoobe who was under Shabaab in the post you have mentioned above.

And less than a year later Madoobe switched sides and he blamed Barre for being pro Shabaab when that was not the case.

It was a funny moment
