New curfew imposed on Hotels in Somaliland.

Government of Somaliland decides to make a new law that would make all hotels and restaurants close no later than 23:50. If any hotel or restaurants decides not to comply with this new law, that that business can have its business license revoked. Even weddings have to finish before 23:50.

This is shocking news to me I used to stay out until 4am sometimes. Royal Launch and summertime are both upon until the morning.

Also somaliland is safe, if the people want to stay up late, or the hotels want to be open late it’s their choice.
The hotel and restaurants owners should speak out this is an attack on their business/ livelihood

Dining out late is part of Hargeysa culture. Anyone who has been to Hargeysa knows about dining out and staying up late. In Hargeysa all the hotels and restaurants are always packed out during the afternoon and evenings.
If people enjoy staying up late, let them be it’s their choice.
