Somaliland set to hold elections late 2019

As everyone is aware the parliamentary and local elections that were supposed to be held in March 2019 got postponed because the 3 political parties failed to agree. However after the president invited the 2 opposition leaders to the presidential palace, they agreed to hold the elections in late 2019. They did no set a specific date.

exactly and they will use the drought excuse later and postpone it to 2020.

Actually I think it the election will happen at the end of the year. There has been a lot of pressure to hold elections from the opposition parties, some members of the ruling party and a lot of pressure from the general public. IC has put a lot of pressure on the government also, so o think they’ll hold it on time.
