Turkey Ambassdor to Somalia has arrived in hargeisa


Mean while UN are leaving Miqdisho, whats going on. Looks like farmaajo is draaging back all the work the west and turkey has done.

What does turkey want?
I hate Turkey, especially they way they treat ethnic minority Kurds. Turkey would never recognise somaliland even if the rest of the world did.
Also Turkey has its interest in Somalia, the spent millions in Mogadishu. If I was the president I would ban anyone with a Turkish Passport entering somaliland.

They want to resume the Somaliland/Somalia talk but thats pountless as either side will concede their main points which for Somaliland Independence and on the other side Somalia reunification.


But turkey is trying to use soft dipomacy with Somaliland now UAE is the main partner with the base and econemy trade with the gulf.

As usually Somaliland will listen and give the ears and keep it moving.

One thing about them countries is how they underestimate Somaliland as a whole,

Turkey has a consular in jijija yare that i saw one time, quiet big.

But i dont think Somaliland will wave the turkey flag in Hargeisa just becos they landed.

The Turkish guy that is supposed to be leading the talks is very anti somaliland.
Somaliland should not waste its time on these meaningless talks. Somaliland should demand international mediators other than Turkey and we also need to demand anyone who brakes the deal should be dealt with. Unless Somalia and IC agree to somalilands terms and conditions there should be no talks. Oh yeah and no Dir Waqooyi involved this time.

When the UN pulls out so too will Turkey. Turkey was only there in the case Mogadishu stabilizes and they could become good partners. Now if the U.N. pulls out Somalia will cease to exist. It has been a failed state for 27 straight years now. Turkey is simply reading the writing on the wall. Somalians from amisomalia don’t want to help themselves. No one else can. Turkey doesn’t want to waste its time and resources on useless people

The Turks intentions are not pure anyway. SL should hear what they have to say but make it clear they are not our allies. They showed favoritism already just because Failmaajo is leading Somalia off a cliff now and complicating Turkish plans for Somalia doesn’t mean we will cozy up to them

I dont like the Turks either sick individuals they kill kurd muslims on the daily they only came because UK minister paid a visit.

A person from amisomalia is called a Somalian. A person from SL is called a somalilander. We are both Somalis it’s just you are a colonial resident of the amisom variety
