The military is standing with him. But he ordered the US to close their diplomatic offices and get out. Guaido is telling them to stay.

If those diplomats are jailed, you know Trump is gonna do something.

It's gonna be a massacre maduro is too nice like I told you all, others are not but are bloodthirsty and drooling for the blood of those supported by the us.
They have been leashed an held back but are armed to the teeth and will commit drinking genocide if allowed.

Maybe this is the US GAMBIT create conditions for the deaths of thousands and then try the old responsibility to protect bullcrap like Libya.

But Venezuela is not Libya, the terrain alone will swallow allot of us troops and mercenaries.

You have the Chavista paramilitary collectivos whosre heavily armed. What happens to them post Maduro? The mega gangs who outgun the police? The ELN occupy the border region of Colombia and Venezuela Chavez set this up for the event of a coup.

This is set up for a multi factional civil war.

Maduro fukked up by not addressing the currency and inflation. Floating the currency would have solved a lot. But nope, had to satisfy the corrupt gang who took dollars out of the country and then they imposed some austerity.

Washington – A U.S. Department of the Treasury Spokesperson today issued the following statement on Venezuela:

“This week, President Trump recognized Juan Guaidó as the interim President of Venezuela. Diplomatic and economic relations between the United States and Venezuela must be consistent with the United States’ recognition of Juan Guaidó and the National Assembly. The United States will use its economic and diplomatic tools to ensure that commercial transactions by the Venezuelan Government, including those involving its state-owned enterprises and international reserves, are consistent with this recognition.”

There is nothing you can do about economic sabotage when the right wing traders and their servile masses allied with the big banks , big oil , and the US wage an all out economic war. Regardless the elected president is Maduro and no one can replace him with a man that did not even contest the election and never campaigned.

But the good thing is , the Venezuelan working class and poor are fully well informed about the situation and the will defend their interest . If the socialist government is overthrown by the wealthy right wingers , then the consequence for the poor and working class is total destruction.
