Cagjar makes a power move
The last few weeks, xisbiga faasidka ah that currently rules the Somali region has been paralyzed by competition for power between the two most senior leaders, the party head Inna Shide and Cagjar the current president.
Shide using his prior networks attempted to subdue Cagjar using contacts within ODPO and remnants of Iilay Heego
Suffice to say this morning Cagjar is sweeping the floor with supporters of Shide. He fired two ministers that were pro Shide.
Shide now is also under the spot light in Addis. He was already a well known man as a handler for Iiley in Addis.
He has brought the spot light on himself. Images of him holding Meles's picture standing next to Iilay, his famous picture of looking back at somali MPs voting to extend emergency rule in Addis are all in circulation.
Influental Oromo diaspora Jawar is also on his case.
It is not clear to me how Inna Shide survives this politically. He is seen as damaged goods.
Cagjar has come out stronger from this and appears to have overwhelming support of the Somalis.

Why hasn't the federal Govt pursued the OPD.....they committed just as many crimes as the Liyu?
I have no confidence in any Somali politician that is appointed from Addis.

If Cagjar unites Somalis and quickly addreses their issues, resentments and concerns, he does not need to worry about Galla Abiy, Lamma or Shide.
Galla will have no body to use.

Awrastaale, I thought u were a man whom knew how the Ethiopian politics work. the more things change in Ethiopia the more they stay the same. Abey christo ahmed is a habashizied oromo and a card carrying tplf intelligent officer. Ethiopia is a feudal kingdom has been and will alwsy be.

Cagjar Somaliazed the kilil 5 and Ethiopia won't tolerate that. That's his biggest weakness . SHIDE is loyal for Ethiopia and he has no blood at his hands. No matter how many images of him with iley you flood in the social media. Only the Somalis of Zoomalia and iley victims support Cagjar because he did some justice for the victims by arresting many criminals. But that does not mean he has huge support. No way . Shide is more popular figure.

No one is loyal to "Ethiopia". Ethiopia in the way you understand it is Xabashi reinstating their dominion. This will not happen as the Oromo masses now have their own identity and will not allow Habashi domination over them. The conflict will now move to who owns Addis ababa, what language the federal govt will use. Moving forward Ethiopia will either remain decentralized or will completely disintegrate.

Preferably the latter inshallah.

Re: Cagjar makes a power move
Cagjar seems like someone that’s putting Somalis first, however I don’t agree with the speculation that Ahmed Shidhe is behind the reason he’s been asked to resign waa dhaqan xumo to accuse him of having any part, if that was the case Iley’s rain would’ve came a lot sooner then just recently.
