Every year there is a draught, followed by torrential rains, and yet our politician never care to prepare for the obvious natural disasters.

And soon as the predictable comes to reality they fetch their begging bowls and cry for the IC and UN to feed them and save them.

How can the north and south prepare for drought.
There is not enough food being produced, so there is nothing to store.
Imported foodstuffs are too expensive and s/l cannot borrow money on the world markets for onvious reasons.
Perhaps the govt could increase the number of boreholes so locals in the villages could engage in micro farming instead of sittling around all day drinking salty tea.
