Harar, Ethiopia
Who are the people who live in Harar? Who are the original owners before Oromos savaged the place up? It is about 24 miles away from Dir Dhabe yet so little is known about it beside the gaal Richard Burton visit in 1850s. Anyway below video is about arranged marriage. A messed up family, is the runaway girl Christian, but father is Muslim, while uncle is called Tedessa, a Christian name? Welcome to Oromo/Galla infused culture.
Re: Harar, Ethiopia
Despite being small ,the place is multiethnic hotspot. They usually have a strong societal fabric and that's why they called themselves Hereris or the people of Herer..I believe a good number of Hereris are of Somali origin

Re: Harar, Ethiopia
Dir and Darood owned Harar before the Oromo scourge came. We must recapture the holy city. It is our Gondar. Our glory. It was the city of Sade, Gadabursi, Absame and the likes. Amir Nur Ibn Mujahid, a MX built the five surviving walls from the Galla invasion and told the Semitic speaking Arogoba and Harla tribes to forget their tribes and created the Adari people of Harar. Harar should be belong to us. Not Christian kuffars like Xabasha. It is our city on a hill. The Hararis in the '77 chosen to be with us and join Somaliweyn called the Kulub movement. They are our Magan.
Re: Harar, Ethiopia
The Adari people and Somalis were 50/50 before Oromos arrived. Many Habar Awal used to live or trade with Harar and so some decided to stay and the Bartire were also in big numbers with various Somalis of nearby clans (Dir,Ogaden, Jidwaaq and Tol Jeclo)residing there for religous studies. My great grandfather's brother studied there and became a "macalin"

Harar is not caasimad somaliyeed it's not even part of kilil5 the city has not more than 200 thousand people the people indigenous to the city are called cadaris. Cadaris speak a geez language similar to amharic or tigrinya and Arabic . There language is nothing like afsomali

Re: Harar, Ethiopia
These people aren’t even Oromo fool. No Oromo in this area has the name “Rahel, Tadese” etc. They are Amhara or Gurage.Jabuutawi wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:39 pm Who are the people who live in Harar? Re: Harar, Ethiopia
I only have fond memories of my time in Harar. No trace of anything that has something to do with Somalis, the Xabasha and the oromos have the most influence on the people and the city.
Re: Harar, Ethiopia
this brother is obsessed with oromos. next, he will blame us for the fact that djibouti has no farm land/arable land.St8OuttaDirree wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 1:31 pmThese people aren’t even Oromo fool. They are speaking your language.
Harar is like 70%+ Oromo now, chances are high they are Oromos or assimilated groups. What is undeniable is your savagery toward the city; you put a siege to it for however long it was, and finally, when you broke through like Yajuj and Majuj, killed, raped and ransacked the 4th holiest city in Islam. Your history is one of shame.

They're clearly speaking Amharic In this video. These aren't Oromos. Amharas and garages live in Harar in large numbers as well.
Your hatred means nothing. Call me or my people names all you like, won't hurt.
But if you do want to bring us up, please bring legit information.. Ilma Warabessa.

Re: Harar, Ethiopia
Harar belongs to Somalis. Oromos should leave that city. It is a important part of our history. When Ethiopia is weak. We will return for it.St8OuttaDirree wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 11:39 pmIf you speak Oromo, please tell me where in this clip they speak it?Jabuutawi wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 11:06 pm ^They are speaking your language.
