The Somali Sijuis of Kenya have all but lost the Somali language

Sijuu are the worse Somali people I’ve ever come across.
Everyone else from abroad still acts Somali and are proud of their language and culture, even if they happen to be 2nd or 3rd generation.
All the other Somalis from all over the world still help and contribute to their family back home. They pay qaadaan as well as mag (blood money), except for the Siju. My family don’t even bother counting my siju relatives when collecting money from the whole family or collecting blood money.

Another thing about siju people is they think they are Kenyan or Tanzanian, they don’t care about being Somali or the speaking Somali. They rather speak Swahili. Siju people like their fellow Kenyan adoomay more than their Somali relatives, they see Somali people from somaliland and Somalia as foreign.

All in all they are the worse Somali people, the ones from North Eastern and Eastleigh are not bad. The rest are a disgrace. My uncle who lived in Kenya for a very long time told me before the Somali people migrated after, the Siju women did not even cover up. They only used toilet roll no water when going toilet. Oh yeah and the Siju women chew a lot of khat, some of them chew with their husbands.

Have you been to Somalia lately......even the smallest tuulo is full of bastard children......yet the women are all covered and many even wear Burkha's.

The point is things are changing or have already changed. This is happening in Muslim societies across the globe......the secularists anything goes culture is in the ascendancy.

Any one who is from NFD is not sijuu . Because they are typical Somalis in their own environment. The real sijuis are the peaople brought from Somaliland and hawd into the kenya like the isahakia clan in naivasha . Amina the ex foreign minister. Sijuus are 100% nothern Somalis brought by the British into East Africa. Most of them are isaaq and dhulbahante . But you can find some ogs from hawd region . The Ogs In NFD are not sijuus , if they Lost their language it must be because of recent Bantu invasion .

Somali's in Kenya and Ethiopia have come to the realization thay they will probably never reunite with Somalia so have integrated into their home countries.

Af somali language is nothing more than a mode of communication and it seems people from the Kililka even though they speak it fluently but they hardly understand each other.
If I was to compare somalis of Ethiopia and Kenya the worst of them would be those from Ethiopia.Very fake people with fake sense of nationalism and patriotism people who you van lie to 100 times with the same lie and they believe it.People who create instability in other regions Axmed Cumar Jees,Xaji Qoraxey,Xassan Turki,Axmed Madhoobe.

Have you seen Yusuf haaji speak somali? You'd think he's a teenager sent from dibadaha for dhaqan celis. sidaad sheegtay cabdallaha baa ogu dran, hadana hadaad dhinaca kale ka eego iyagaa u cilmi badan somali oo dhan(the most educated Somali clan). Yusuf haaji, professor gaandi, nuradiin faarah, etc.. waa wada cidaa.

The sijuis pursued education and entrepreneurship, and this is where it led them.
