Your analysis is spot on, with closer ties between this admin and the current Ethiopian government it's only right to have a northerner with administrative expertise and weight behind him like Camey represent Somalia in our neighboring nation. This will undoubtedly be used to counter northern aspirations for succession in the near future.

Our relations with Ethiopia have been quite strong with the understanding between Abiy and Farmaajo, just today there was a meeting between the Ethiopian finance minister Ahmed Shide and the President. It's crucial to have someone trustworthy in those type of positions and I'm sure the abti link between Farmaajo and Camey plays a role in that.
