N&N cant decide the election model this is a file in hands of the donors and the UN envoy and they want all somalis to ugree upon one model. in the last parnership forum they warned N&N to come up with an inclusive national agenda hadii kale waa laga tashan. this govt is accused of being anti-federaliam and they(donors) know that so this govt want to use IDPS and stray somaliwayn and diaspora and their stray xamare based "xoogaga wadaniyiinta" wich sanbalolshe described them that they r the new guulwadayaashii kacaanka and bring them all in xamar "to vote for the Farmajist party"so to do so they have to oust hmed madoobe and turn people against dani already PL speaker is in cahoots with them and he is married to a cousin of Farmaajo. he met them secretly while he was in transite in Xamar on his way to turkey and he said to them " anigu marti baan ahay laakiin dadkiisa ka horkeena then waa qaban mooshinkooda) it looks like this is why the cumar maxamud mp was attacking him in the parliament. he said "baarlamaanka ayaa kaa gaari doona goaan hadaad iscasili wayso!!)

and then you have the opposition parties so this agenda has already failed with the mounting opposion led by Sh sharif. they failed in JL really bc they understimated the situation as long ahmed madoobe stays in Kismaayo they wont be able to use the name of JL abd they got one year. in 8 months gudiga baarlamaanka iyo opposition parties iyo all maamulada have to agree on the election model wich will be based on six deegaan not be based on one deegaan as Farmaajo dereams bc he knows he is not controlling the regions except south west. no way for Hirshabelle and Galmudug let alone JL and PL . markey doorahada soo dhawaato everyone will give them the middle finger.

sahal it is definitely the right thing for somalia to adopt the closed list version of proportional representation whereby the whole country is a single electoral constituency. holland and israel adopt this but they have open lists instead of closed lists and we should adopt the closed lists so as to help our people not face the complexity of choosing individual candidates as well as a political party.

ps do you believe and predict that unless the somaliland separation issue is finally resolved the sfg cannot hold either a constitutional referendum nor any election that is one person one vote

No problem if it based on federalism but what we are agsinst is jumping on the federal system so it can suit Farmaajo. the other options the old way where mps are voting.

Unless there is some shadowy candidate with a lot of financial support and backing from one of the khaleeji states and the green light from the west that hasn't announced his candidacy thus far, I don't see N&N losing against Shiekh Sharif and the likes of CC Shakur. But as long as the mucarad keep it cordial and lay off from divisive rhetoric that is used to get the masses to revolt than it's fine. Furthermore I don't think 1m1v is feasible for the next 10 years due to many of the differing security risks, educating people on the process, and bringing all relevant 'states' to the table.
