You are right that I did change my approach not in a good way. What I mean by that is I detest the notion that this is a ‘Marexaan Gov’ not a Somali Government. I criticized the Gov and still do for how the Roobow, Baydhabo thing was handled, Xamar Security situation, unnecessary flight restrictions to Kismaayo, etc.


All that being said I noticed a lot of the usual double standards, hypocrisy, convenient not consistent nationalism sentiments, etc. Mucaaradnimo based not on nationalistic reasons but qabiil pride. I had the mindset Farmaajo is Somali President full stop will engage as a everyday Somali citizen but when I saw the person attacks, unnecessary aspersions on even his character I was like hey, my family and I go back with him since before I was born, know him personally, been to our house, so I don’t have to read friggin Somali rumor sites to know BS unsubstantiated attacks, out of bounds attacks when I see one. Bottom line is no matter how much you despise him, think he is after your qabil interests any rational observer would say the Gov has big flaws, but has also done a lot of really good progress. 2 things can be true!
