Baledweyne rescued partially from flood

Post by sahal80 »

Alhadullilah all local efforts have come to fruition also the engineers from the FGS have done great job for the reduction of river flows. water was close to pour over liiqliiqato and buundowayn bridges on the west side as the river level rose but because of opening waraaboole canale in this qoraxsin side it decreased flood risk in buundowayn and howlawadaag. there was a little flooding from the eastern side of liiqliiqato near lamagalaay military base.

after flood defences in Hilikiliyo 7k north of town got breached, flood water has submerged the roads in parts of the eastern neighbourhoods but the center is safe from flooding and and this water is expected to retreat back into the river within 24 hours.

we have learned alot this time every householder said he will pay $20 and in this way millions can be collected domestically.

unaffected xaafado this year besides xaafada howlawadaag

long-term durable solutions; wabi la ga jeexayo galbeedka magaalada oo uga darsoomya wabiga gadaasha magaalado
